The Reelhouse film page was the portal to the filmmaker’s story. It had to achieve a level of customizability and versatility that would fit any story, and usability that would present a frictionless transactional experience. Valuable user data is captured and used to inform future iterations of design.
The film page allowed users to view the trailer while learning about the film. The video player was designed to maximize engagement, resulting in purchases.
Many iterations of the purchase flow design were provided. The result was a beautifully simple three-click checkout flow. Successive purchases only required one-click.
I developed the concept of layering supplemental content in a way that encouraged exploring browse purchase options (bundles), and viewing the various forms of bonus content.
